I looked SR up, and I'm not sure I'm bothered enough to try to understand it. I bet TRT's use of it is along the lines of this comment on an article about it: ''Even more unfortunately, SR has sometimes been invoked in pseudoscientific contexts, such as explaining why "Native Americans can hear the voices of their ancestors in the noise of the grass"!''

From my understanding, SR is a phenomenon that occurs when a sound is so low that your ears will strain to hear it and in turn give you tinnitus or something. In the case of TRT, it can supposedly occur when the generators are set too low. And as you say, there doesn't seem to be any actual science to back this claim up other than Jastreboff's and Hazel's ramblings and gut feelings.

I think that one act gives us a pretty good idea of the character of this guy.

I've just become familiar with this story, and I felt like blowing the Titanic's horn at him in retribution.

My god, not only was this girl assaulted, pretty much everyone around her fumbled about, because certified medical practitioners know less about H than a bunch of laymen on a T forum, resulting in a worsened condition. She's off to a good start.

Seriously, if she gets through this ordeal, and I think she will eventually, her teen years are pretty much ruined. There was one dickhead comment on the Daily Mail article saying her life isn't ruined, it's just been changed. Uh-huh, I'm sure that's of great comfort to Cindy.
