Hey.
Did someone have this - with a loud event, for example, screaming near the ear that in the ear there was a feeling of stuffiness, what an uncomfortable feeling, Fullness of ear.
Did it happen over time?

I have fullness in my ears after loud events. I believe ears become more sensitive once you have tinnitus, and as such can cause swelling in the ears. That or the loudness damaged structures in the ear that would then cause the muffled/full feeling.
Today I was exposed to over 140 db at the movies and both my ears feel semi-painful and full. I can only hope it's the first reason I've listed and not the second.

It's your tensor tympani and possibly stapedius muscles contracting in a bid to protect your cochlea from further sound damage. It can be psychosomatic.

Your sinuses and ETs can swell causing pressure issues ie the fullness sensation.

I get this a lot, whenever someone makes a load noise near my ear whether it be yelling from a child or a whistle blows near my ear from a sports game. I have come to realise that it is just the ear protecting it's self from further damage. It can be very annoying and painful at times but it does go back to normal over a few days. At least this is what happens with me, however i wouldn't be exposing myself to a lot of these noises often as I have a feeling one day the fullness isn't going to go away or my ears wont just bounce back.

How long does it take for it to go away?

From what I understand the feeling of aural fullness after noise trauma is due to an abnormal build up of fluid in the inner ear. I forget where I read this or heard this so I'm open to someone telling me off. Inner ear fullness can remarkably feel exactly like middle ear fullness, so it's quite deceptive.

My ears are shit and my last bad noise trauma I had was two weeks ago and the fullness went away in a day or two.
