Hi Everyone,

Since having tinnitus for three years now, I have developed anxiety as well which is debilitating as it causes insomnia for me and it is overall having a negative effect on me...

My GP had prescribed Zoloft and I have just been looking at it too afraid it'll make my tinnitus worse. I know this question has been asked a few times before so apologies for that, I hope some of you will take the time to give me some of your opinions - Thank you !

I've taken setraline which is Zoloft for years. A change in dosage has made my T louder but it has worked well for depression. I now sleep well on it and I'm trying to reduce the anxiety, it varies. This med works well for a lot of people although there can be some side effects initially.
Good luck.

I got it prescriped after my latest spike (which probably is permanent) and even though I handle everything better now, I can't say it's because of that. No effect on the actual tinnitus either.

I think i would be ok if Zoloft didn't work or had no affect. I couldn't handle it tho if it made my T permanently worse . Guess it's a case of Russian roulette.
