Dishes on the Floor — 12 Days Spike

This is not a normal spike. It is not like "the volume of tinnitus has increased".

My tinnitus one year ago, at the onset, was loud. It was loud for at least 10 months, then it became fluctuating and quiet when there were no other sound around me.

Sleep was finally possible.

Now the situation is devastating and so strange: 12 days ago dishes near me crashed on the floor and a strange spike started. It wasn't noticeable during the day, during first hours. Then my hearing became a bit muffled. Not a big deal anyway.

Problem is the evening and the night. An electric sound from my ear, from my head... I can't sleep. If I try to cover my ears... I don't hear the tinnitus! But when I put off my hands, it starts again.

Bill Bauer told me some spikes can be long to fade. But reading this forum I understood I developed a strange type of spike.

I do not know what to do...
Tomorrow I have a tooth removal.
Today I have an MRI to my neck.
In 30 days I will be a father.

I can sleep maximum 4 hours per night and sometimes 0 hours, and that is only when taking Xanax.

I'm beginning to hope that all this fatigue could kill me.

The spike went away 2 days ago. I was at home going to sleep and I noticed the high volume buzzing was not there anymore. I still have tinnitus but it went back to mild.

Hey man, glad to hear it went back to baseline. Did the reactiveness get better too?

Reactiveness never resolved.

I had many spikes and setbacks in these years, but all of them went away. At the moment I have a spike and I'm a bit worried because this is the first time I have it for no reason.
