Do Piercings Affect Tinnitus?

I have had tinnitus for 7 months now, don't know the complete cause of it, may never know but as time goes on I am dealing with it better everyday. First few months have been extremely hard, the hardest thing I've just about ever had to deal with. Some days are worse than others, but it's amazing what your body and mind can get use too.

Anyways, I have been wanting a new piercing on my ear, way before my tinnitus happened, and I've recently decided to do it, has anyone ever had done a piercing on the ear and has it affected your tinnitus in any way?

Are you serious, Crystal? Piercings don't have anything to do with tinnitus, you are safe to have them done.

Yes I was being serious, I am not having just a regular ear lobe piercing, I have read of some people claiming it does affect, so I was making sure, I knew it shouldn't affect it at all, but you never know I guess.

Some people claim drinking water affects their tinnitus. Take everything with a grain of salt.
