Hello!

I have a question for you.

Do you do regular audiometry at home in a program on your computer or smartphone?

If so, do you observe some changes and inconsistencies in your hearing?

Do you hear some frequencies a little worse at some time.

Which frequencies are better?

Thank you!

I used to do that on my smart phone in the very beginning of my hearing issues, when I didn't have a diagnosis yet. Not anymore. I was using the mimi hearing app on iPhone.

I did, back then.
I don't do that anymore: now I go do a hearing test every 6-12 months, mostly because of my degenerative condition which requires monitoring for trend.

Which frequencies are better?

Well that depends on the kind of damage you have, right? There is no general rule there. In my case, pre-stapedotomy, the lows were worse than the highs, but post-stapetodomy, the highs are worse than the lows.
