Tinnitus Since
Unsure but more than 2+ years.
Cause of Tinnitus
Listening to music too loud; concerts with no protection.
My tinnitus sound levels fluctuate like crazy, just two days ago it was extremely loud at night, staticky and like a CRT tv sound.

Now, I'm sitting in my quiet bedroom and actively listening to it and it is much quieter than usual. I'm surprised because it tends to be louder in the evening and I also went out today (with ear protection).

My theory is that my anxiety/stress levels contribute a lot to my tinnitus.

I wonder, if I can continue to manage my anxiety and protect my ears, will my tinnitus eventually subside permanently?

Does anyone else experience this?

I don't notice my tinnitus for the first 10 seconds of being awake. Then I remember I have it and it comes back. Closest I ever get to true silence.

Mine goes from screeching blasting to much softer and diluted bleep bloop noises - like what you would expect a super computer to sound like in dexters lab, but then that at a distance. The latter is much less intrusive - I don't know why the disparity exists or why it changes.
