Wondering if this simple sweep of tones helps out many people? I've added a few more sounds to experiment with.

I was playing with some sounds at the weekend and made a sine wave sweep. I've slightly altered it but in essence it's sounds from the bottom to the top of the hearing spectrum. The others are the result of some weekend experimentation too :)

You need to wear headphones to listen because computer speakers won't play much of the sound properly.

Give me suppression and not harsh to listen to, although the notch filtered noise file may be unpleasant for some people.

Also on request I added a 10 minute version of the Sine Sweep file.

Hi Steve, thx for sharing this clip.

Today my head tinnitus is bothering me very much and no masking music is working but this clip you shared makes me relaxed.

Could I please get this sound as a longer version?

God bless you.

You could try this as well. Makes me relax, and has a slight residual inhibition effect as well.

If I'm not mistaken, this is also the work of @Steve.

Not really, I have a tone in each ear, it actually drew my attention to each tone as the recording progressed. Didn't bother me, but didn't feel much difference either. Maybe people with different sound will have different reactions.

Best,
Zug

That's not me, it's from a member here. He put in an awesome effort and created that site.

Thanks Steve could you possibly put that on maybe a 10 min loop ?

Longer version added to the original post up top. I am also adding additional sounds to see if they help some people out.

I've read that tinnitus sounds like 7800 Hz. Given it's nerves firing and not really hair cells moving it would be interesting to learn if an out of phase signal in that range can be dialed in for specific ringing.

Thank you Steve.

Sometimes I found this tone attached helping me.

Could be very difficult but in principle it's a sound idea. To be able to play out of phase you would need to match up to the tinnitus sound perfectly and then shift the phase of the sound you're playing. Without a true objective tinnitus measure I think it will be very difficult to do, even then tinnitus is a phantom signal so would an out of phase signal actual be able to achieve phase cancellation?

Thank you Steve.

That's an interesting sound. First play it annoyed me but I played it again and I can see it has a certain quality to it. Still made me spike a little but I wonder, is this tuned to your particular frequency? It feels like the sort of sound that is dependent on being tuned to the specific frequency of the listener.
