You must be joking right
First of all I am not joking. And second, I am not talking about spending money. If you read this thread you will see what I'm talking about. It costs nothing to gather information. And here's a newsflash for you: TRT isn't the only solution.

Well, people do, don't they?
I don't know who contacts whom off the board. The Doctors' Corner is for general information - not for individualized advice.

Reading this thread (and the number of exchanges in the last day or two) clearly expresses the futile situation of the tinnitus community: long time members debating with each other as to which treatment proposal represents the best solution to a problem that currently has no solutions. Only a madman would spend time on such matters.

A (concerned) passerby.

I thought this is a support and not a battle forum. (n)

With or without any TRT, CBT, ABC, XYZ, Yoga, meditation, healthy diet, psych docs, exercising, meds, herbs or whatever I do, at the end I must live with this BS in my head. On milder days (when I have only a buzzing head), this is easier. Of course, I can also react badly then. On many loud days (where some sounds oscillate in my head), this is just torture. But even then, I try to give my best going through my day.

I believe that for certain loud T, you can do whatever you want. This is not habituable.
But this is just me and of course I have no clue.

Do not forget we sit all in the same boat - unfortunately. People do not suffer voluntarily and everyone tries finding strategies to get better. EVERYONE.

I am unlucky that I am on this support forum. But happy having so many supportive people here.
So let's support each other.

It was because of the drugs, that's for sure.
I know you feel that way, but statistically it's likely that you would have seen significant improvements over the same timeframe even without any drugs. Whether or not this would have happened for you specifically isn't something we can know from doing math, but, you really don't have any reason to say it was the drugs for sure other than your own gut feeling.

Well, other people have reported permanent results from trobalt. Also, still had reactive tinnitus while on trobalt...Wasn't until keppra it went away.

To all:

I took the liberty to delete a number of posts on this thread.

Please remember that this is a support forum. Any conversation that devolves into personal attacks will be halted and deleted. Be mindful of our Netiquette policy. Be kind to others.

Have a happy 4th of July, and protect your ears when you watch your fireworks tonight.
