Ear Wax — If Manual Removal Is Not Possible, What to Do?

Hi how long after microsuction did it take for your tinnitus to lower?

I stupidly stuck a cotton bud in my ear before Christmas and blocked my ear. A couple of days later I developed the ringing noise in that ear. Managed to get microsuction 10 days later. It instantly felt better with very mild ringing but it's since gone back up.

Hello everyone.

I have sudden hearing loss and more tinnitus in my left ear. The doctor told me that I have earwax buildup. I am worried about the ear wax removal procedure.

What should I do?

Doing the ear wax removal procedure and take prednisolone to prevent any further damage? Or doing the procedure manually?

Ear wax removal should be fine. My ENT did it the manual way two months ago and pulled out 33 years worth. I didn't feel a thing. In fact, it relieved me of a great deal of pain I was suffering from my initial June 2018 noise trauma, which makes no sense, but there it is.
