So sorry to hear @glynis. I hope youll feel better soon!

You always try to comfort and help everybody in here, so i really hope you aswell get the support and care you need (and deserve!) right now.

Maybe you have some nice Tea and a soft blanket at Home that could help, aleast a little bit.

Many hugs :huganimation:

I've only been around here for a week or so, and I so appreciate all of your informative and positive posts! I'm sorry you're not feeling well, and I hope you ears go back to behaving well (or as well as they can!) soon.

Sorry for your spike, Glynis. Hope that is only a spike that will go back to baseline. But you didn't let T dictate you and went out with hubby. You are a tough lady with a kind and helping heart. You will pull through this latest spike. God bless your recovery.

So sorry for the added distress Glynis.

I have had the same thing happen to me last week. Mostly at night when trying to go to sleep it was so loud and distressing I curled up in a ball and cried. My husband has been through this with me over the past 14 years now. It does not happen that often and during the days I am usually able to cope by keeping busy.

Sometimes I get so upset at the "get over it and move on" type of responses. In the beginning stages and sometimes for us long term tinnitus people that response just sucks. When your brain is so severely affected in a negative way hearing that matra of sorts makes people feel....lost and weaker than others. And certain people think that is the only way to deal with tinnitus. So many just stay silent.

"Hey it is just a noise and won't kill you..." blah blah responses is one reason I stopped even trying to respond on boards for support.

It hurts when we get the set backs like this. Although I have the benefit of being through this many times. Sometimes for no reason and sometimes after being exposed to really loud situations.

Take care.

I too have only been here for a couple of weeks but have seen so many informative and positive posts from you. I hope you start feeling better soon.
