Unfortunately you aren't the first to feel this way @Raphael7713. I would advise to research, ask questions here then bring all your questions, written down, along to the ENT during your visit. Good luck and God bless!

ENT can arange a MRI etc and look in your ears and deal with ear problems and then refur you to audiology where they an talk to you a bout options for hearing aids if need them or duel purpose hearing aids or maskers and advise you what to buy if not on the NHS....lots of love glynis

Or you can cut out the middle-doctor and go straight to the Audiologist. You may as well.

Sure mine is just reading off a list 1) labyrinthitis , 2) Ménière's , 3) vestibular migraine, take these pills and let's look at the results of your MRI, but I haven't had it yet, what a waste of everyone's time and my life!
MRI 9/3/17 no follow up appointment, waited patiently then phoned 4/4/17 to hear a recorde message ' sorry I'm on annual leave until 27/3/17, um it's the 4 th of April , and so I phone another 4 times next available appointment 18th May, what a great NHS we have NOT!
