Eurovision 2018

I like to watch it on tv ...:D

It has gotten worse in terms of musical quality. I think Eurovision was good from the 50s-90s, there were some amazing songs in the 2000s.
Last time the UK won was 1997. Luxembourg withdrew from the contest as did Monaco. Turkey has also withdrew due to the new system of voting.

No I don't. Why do you ask?

Eurovision is a big thing in Europe so I assumed that you watch it. My favorite Eurovision entry is the one from Norway in 1995.

YEEESSS!! I am a big Eurovision fan.....may is my favorite time a year. It was my dream to go to Eurovision one day, but now that is not possible due to T and H.

But I will watch at home with family or friend and lots of chips and snacks as usual :D

I make sure to never listen to the other country's songs before the semifinal/final. Want them to be a surprise :p

Hmm, I think the quality of songs from recent years has been REALLY high. Really a lot of good ones in there and some amazing performers/singers.

I only watch Eurovision for the excellent commentary of graham norton (UK). Can tell he's drinking the entire night which I think is brilliant and refreshing. Fave song is heroes from a few years back, the performance with the projection display.

The Eurovision is my idea of hell :nailbiting: why would you subject yourself to that haha

I am sorry to say @Jcb that I have to agree with you. Why would any right thinking human being, want to subject their ears and auditory system to such raucous noise is beyond me. The fact that I have tinnitus I wouldn't want to take the risk of making it worse. I am being flippant so please forgive me those that watch it. I much prefer the peace, calm and tranquillity, that classical music provides and it's so soothing to my ears.

Each to their own, I've never seen the appeal of Eurovision but I know plenty of people who adore it. I grew up on classical/opera as my mum would play it constantly so it's kind of etched in me now. I still listen to the odd classical tune, but I love RnB from the 90s that's my main genre but that being said I do have eclectic taste it music as a whole.....
