Tinnitus Since
about 3 years on and off
My tinnitus started after a sinus infection "Eustachian Tube Dysfunction"-It actually stopped while I was in Okinawa Japan for 2 years "Do the humidity" when I came back to the US-the flight and dry air started it again. Since back, I've seen a few ENTs "Did nothing", but ran across one in San Diego Dr. Brain Weeks-yesterday I had sinus surgery and Eustachian tube dilation-I feel a lot better and hopeful the procedure worked. He is one of two ENTs on Earth that perform the procedure. Just passing info along in the hopes it helps someone

Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. I wish you too that the procedure will turn out to be a success.
Keeps up posted.

Hope the surgery makes a big difference for you..lots of love glynis

I am thinking about getting that tube dilatation. Can you tell a bit more about what symptoms you had before e.g. constant ear pressure and how you feel now, if the pressure is gone. Was it painful etc?
BTW where I live quiet a few doctors perform the procedure ..

I had my eustacian tubes dilated today. Praying for good results. I REALKY want the T hone! ( had for 2 years) T will drive you nuts!
After a flight from Texas to Virginia, I was rushed to ER with bulging eardrums. Dr said they were about to rupture. I was in Sooo much pain on that flight.
After that...T.
Hoping this surgery corrects the T. If not, I will continue to search for a cure.
BUT, by having the dilation surgery, ENT said I will be able to fly again! Been grounded for 2 years ( except puddle jumpers)
