Hi everyone,

I was sitting outside for a little tonight and a huge firework went off a couple houses away.

I had musician's earplugs in but I'm really worried damage was caused. It was one firework and it was extremely loud. I was worried already today because of other noise exposure but this topped it off.

Since my tinnitus worsened I haven't been exposed to anything as loud as the firework and I'm really worried about what's to come as far as my tinnitus goes.

Thanks for the support everyone.

How were you wearing musicians ear plugs by coincidence? Do you also have hyperacusis or pain from noise?

If your T doesn't spike tonight, or when you wake up tomorrow, you probably don't need to worry about this.
