Tinnitus Since
07/2016
Cause of Tinnitus
Gun Fire
So, it's roughly past six weeks since I've acquired tinnitus in my right ear.

I've experienced temporary tinnitus before in both ears due to loud music or accidentally shooting without ear protection.

But this time, I think this tinnitus in my right ear might be to stay after having my right ear plug loose while shooting.

Thinking about it, it's fucking shitty, hearing this ringing in my right ear. I had my ear protection in, but due to my negligence, I've acquired tinnitus. It might go away, it might not, but I'm not about to let this tinnitus consume my life and consume me, fuck that.

First month was rough but I'm making it. Maybe these drugs will pass clinical trials and start helping people out, maybe stem cell therapy might be an option, maybe I might be stuck with this for life, but I'm about to let tinnitus ruin my life.

Tinnitus hasn't gotten any better for me, but I've just learned to not think about it too much, and if I do, find things to keep my mind off it.

Eventually I'll habituate and not even notice this. For now, imma keep my head down and keep pushing. For all the people out there who are thinking this is too much or feeling suicidal about tinnitus, keep your head up, fuck tinnitus.

Holdup ( hits blunt) yea, I say we should show tinnitus who's the boss around here! Let's roll up and show him/her these hands. Once we through with tinnitus I think it's safe to say it's never gonna show up around these neighborhood ears ever again...lol

if you had T from gunshots you can actually improve a lot provided you really protect your ears in the next 6-12 months , a lot more than usual , like anything over 60db

Drear F#ck Tinnitis-makeitstop,
I am Barrett Haynes, please email me at barretthaynes1@gmail.com or call me at 858 539 0901. I just got T. in both ears last June ('16) but it is caused by THE EARPLUGS! -yours & other people's T. may also be caused by chemical poison in the foam-rubber plugs. I cleaned my plugs with alcohol & they disolved a chemical soup into my ears! Do you remember if your plug got wet or near any chemical, perhaps mosquito spray, alcohol or your swet?- call me, let's save others from this! I may have a lawyer, I'm at 858 539 0901.

Tinnitus is a f@!* bitch.
I nearly destroyed my family because of it. Nobody seams to realise the effect it has on people. But please please please hang on in there, be compassionate to your brain, it can't help it!

Make it stop, did your tinnitus eventually subside? I had your exact scenario just happen to myself. I'm over two months into this hell.
