Today while watching tv, I felt as if someone stuck a finger in my ear. I sometimes get that sudden "vacuum" feeling where it seems like a quick loss of hearing but it comes back. This time it was slower and longer lasting followed by a subtly long ringing. What really threw me off was the numbness I got in my face right after. It wasn't complete numbness, but almost like the feeling you'd get after being punched in the face. I was off balanced and experiencing vertigo as well. Is this all normal experiences?

I have recently been to my doctor and had all sorts of tests done since my sister and father have died the past two years after cancer diagnosis and apparently I'm completely healthy. This was a first for me today. I do have a history of anxiety, but not serious for years, and nothing ever like this.

Vertigo isn't a symptom of anxiety but I know some people who have said they got numb sensations on the face. Have they tested you for Meniere's disease? Friend told me I should get tested because she went misdiagnosed for years.
