Hello everybody!

So i've been trying lately to shift my focus from the auditory sense to the olfactory one.

"Less hissing and more sniffing" seems to be my motto these days.

Unfortunately I ended up blind buying in a compulsive manner all kind of perfumes but hey, I guess it's better than listening to my tinnitus all day long!

That being said, what are your favourite men's /women's fragrances?

I'm into sweet/gourmand scents. Roma Uomo (Laura Biagiotti) and Baccarat Rouge 540 (Maison Francis Kurkdjian) are some of my favourites.

I've been doing this with scented candles! I had the same thought about trying to shift concentration to other senses. I figured if I'm going to be miserable I might as well be miserable with a nice smelling house. Even a few seconds of thought going elsewhere is worth it.

So no real recommendations as I didn't think about using perfume (I've never really worn it) but thanks for the inspiration!

I've been doing something similar, too, and have like 20 different packets of incense sticks now :)

As for perfumes, I really like Guerlain's Pamplelune because it always reminds me of summer.

Sounds interesting. I haven't tried this one yet.

Does it smell as green as it looks?
If green smells good, then yes, absolutely! I'm not much of a perfume/aftershave person, but I love this. My partner wore it when we first dated and I think it may have swayed the odds in his favour lol. It's unisex, so I used to pinch it off him regularly.

It's been on the market for a while. I was gifted a sample when it first came out and liked it from the start, because unlike many summer fragrances back then it wasn't cloyingly sweet but had a bit of a bite to it. "Green Lemon & Orange Juice" by Raphael Rosalee (RR Paris) goes in a similar direction but is a little less tart.

PS: I love your profile pics!!!

I've grown to love this one so, so much.
It has lot of chamomile. And it's a truly beautiful, comforting, and so very interesting scent.
First impression was "oh, huh, this is interesting, I'm not sure what I think but I'm intrigued and I want to know more" And it has just grown on me ever since.
Like a mysterious intriguing moment of eye contact with a stranger that you really want to get to know.
And it's wonderfully unisex! It would fit any gender just as perfectly.
I love this on myself, and I would love it on a guy, or anyone.
Beautiful vintage styled bottle and packaging as well.

Cool bottle that first one :) Is that really for women...?

Careful about those vanilla migraines aura :)

Okay when I was in my twenties I used these two on Saturdays :) Might have been old style even back then :D

I know... Elk Urine is the ultimate panty dropper

Give it a try. It's just like describing your tinnitus :)
"Panty dropper" haha... I'm defo using that one.

Code smells like an angle grinder, a 600 Hz fundamental wave with bold overtones of 7 and 10 kHz @ 40 dB. Sweet, but not overpowering, and kind of 'herby'. ;)

When you get tired of the angle grinder, try Roma Uomo.

It's a lovely, soft hiss on a Mediterranean night :)

Seems to me it's time for a new perfume, @Exit!

You never know who'll come knocking on the door!

We wanna know how you smell
Well it depends what mood I'm in.

For work, I have been wearing Ted Baker London. Apparently, there's notes of jasmine, neroli and musk.

It's a fresh smell, with a hint sweetness.

However, at night time, I tend to wear Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent. Which has notes of black coffee, white florals and vanilla. It's definitely a smokier smell. Gets you in the mood for luuuuv...
