Bad luck can't seem to have enough of me, a super loud fire alarm went off during my interview last Thursday.

Apparently a fire drill was scheduled, this is super unbelievable!

I had to awkwardly cover my ears with my hands and leave the room and now I am spiking and got rejected on top of that.

Can a fire alarm damage your hearing if your hands are covering your ears?

I think you'll be alright, I had a fire alarm go off literally beside my head during an evacuation. I was scared shitless for the day. My tinnitus was actually better the next few days. This was a year ago.

That happened to me 10 years ago, the spike never subsided. I keep going from bad to worse. It's like I have an internecine constant alarm clock going off inside my head. Sleep is zero to nil. I'm a mess, total wreck.
