Hello everyone. My T showed up about three months ago. Like everyone else here I was crushed- I really thought my life would never be the same.
Well today I had my first day of relief in 3 months. I'll explain below what I have done hoping it can help- even if it helps only a single person I will feel that I did something to help others with this messed up condition.
Let me give you some background because as you know all of us are different and there are many clauses and pretty much no documented "magic cures" or we all would have heard of them by now.
My T sounded like a high pitched noise that varied in frequency and volume. I had all the same troubles focusing, sleeping and it certainly effected every waking moment of my days.
About 20 years ago I started having vertigo and dizziness- strange but it is another area of general heath care that there is no real solution- but it did teach me some lessons that helped me deal with my T.
I went to an ENT first -as most of us have done- and my personal feeling is that unless you are one of the lucky ones whose T is claused by ear wax there is not really anything they can do. My ears were "perfect" I had some slight hearing loss but nothing that a 52 year old person should not expect- they wanted me to do a bunch of different therapies - some of which were the same ones doctors suggested tome 20 years ago- I realized there was no help coming to me from this path. They simply wanted to sell me a bunch of nonsense (in my opinion) and max out my health insurance benefits.
Luckily for me my mom is a homeopath and we started talking about ways in which I could fight the T and looked at what might be causing it (in my case).
First I had some dental work done that did not go well. My bite was off and if you have had any dental work around the time your T started I highly recommend checking your "bite" and making sure you are not aggravating the area effected by T. This was one of the first things that came to mind and I followed through with it and made sure that I was treating any imbalance in my bite. One tooth can make a difference.
I started taking supplements for adrenaline fatigue. I was told that this can be a route clause of T and because I am on my feet all day and started working out shortly before my T arrived I began taking Thymex 7930 and Drenamin. I have been doing this now for about a month. Not sure that it did anything but it is a part of my daily regiment.
I also started taking bioplasma (cell salts) one general combination of 12 cells salts and one formulated to focus on "hearing". Cells salts are a general repair for your body and are known to help with fatigue, tension etc.. my first good day came about two weeks after starting the use of these cell salts. They improve how your body's cells work with one another so it sounded like something worth a try because the cause of T is so inaccessible.
The last thing I did was to start taking Arnica Montana- which is an extract that reduces inflammation and repairs soft tissue. I have been aware of AM for years and used to take it for karate and as I got older when my body (joints) got sore. This was helpful because until my T I was a pretty regular user of advil and had to stop because it made my T much worse. I believe people with liver issues need to be careful taking AM because it can elevate your liver function.
I know there has been many discussions on the adrenaline fatigue on this forum but not nearly as many about bioplasma and Arnica Montana. Again I am only trying to be helpful. T is awful and if you can reduce the sound you can move on and continue to live your life without it being the focus of your life.
I will keep you informed as time goes on and let you all know my status in hope that it can help.
