Flexeril Causing Eustachian Tube Dysfunction

Hey, I know that this is an old post, but I feel like I'm having the same issue. I took Flexeril earlier this week and woke up with both ears feeling extremely clogged with dull hearing. I've got another layer of more annoying ringing as a result. Been hard to sleep since. :( Did yours ever get better?

Flexeril is an anticholinergic, like antihistamines. That might have something to do with it.

I thought Flexeril might be bad for tinnitus. I wanted to take it for my neck but was afraid of stories such as yours. Did it get better when you stopped? Could you use Flonase (I do) to counter it?

@Sam Marksmen, mine was a month ago and still not fully gone. Maybe lessened a bit. Do not take Flexeril!

Thanks so much. I'm really sorry. It illustrates how important this forum is for us to communicate with one another.

Do you think it's because it's an anticholinergic?

Generally at the hospital and psych they say everyone reacts differently to meds. I've read people do well here on Buspar, but I got a permanent spike from it.
