Looking for some advice or experiences from anyone who has used both Flonase and Avamys.

I was first prescribed a generic form of Flonase (Fluticasone Proprionate) nasal spray four weeks ago. The first week and a half were mental - headaches, a tinnitus spike, a trip to the ER out of concern- they dismissed me of course, told I had to keep using it for the next month or so for flonase to work. The headaches settled down, but after four weeks of using it nothing seemed to be improving. My nasal passages were unblocked during the day, only for a short amount of time.

I then returned to my doctor after four weeks of using Flonase, he stated my nasal passage was still inflamed and there is still fluid in my left ear. He then prescribed Avamys (Fluticasone Furoate) which was stronger. And to see if this was much more progressive.

I used it last night, and I felt absolutely fine during the day. But come evening time, my tinnitus spiked (5 hours now) and a headache is now occurring on the back and sides of my head. My tinnitus switches over from left to right sometimes changing pitch.

I would like to add:
- I take my nasal sprays before I sleep.
- is headache a normal side effect? And will it go away the more I use it?
- did I do something wrong when I switched flonase to avamys one after the another?
- is it okay for me to take Tylenol for the headache (with no effect on tinnitus?)
