Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

What do you mean by that? Do you know something we don't? They said they will release the results at the end of Quarter 1. March is the last month in Quarter 1.
I'm not sure how long you've been a part of the tinnitus party, but it's been almost 2 years for me. Nearly every milestone that is expected by these drug companies fails to show up on time. I''ve learned to stop expecting things to be on time.

Okay... In the past 2 months. They've brought on a Chief Manufacturing Officer and a President of Marketing and Product Planning. It's clear they are signaling with these hires that the expectations to bring FX-322 to market are high.
They've been projecting so much confidence lately. I'm guessing they feel they'll get at least some of the results they need, and they want to be able to charge out the door at full speed when/if the drug is given the green-light. As of this writing the stock is up ~15%, it's almost $60 a share. With more than a month to go, I'm really curious where it'll be before the Phase 2a results, and where it'll be after.

I've poked around a few other places online and found someone talking about how they think this is a good stock to short since it's grown so much on "air". I wonder if the recent stock run-up will led to higher short interest (which in turn could cause a short squeeze if the results are good).

Frequency Therapeutics has at least made me a rich man, but it doesn't matter if it doesn't work. But the insane stock rising got to be a positive signal.

Bought at $17, now it's $55. Crazy!!!
I have another purchase order in at $46.00 if it peels back this week. Super low volume trading though.

A little over 3 years for me... but I expect them to keep their word. They said in 2020 they would release the 90 day results at the end of Quarter 1. That's March.

A personal thought about FX-322's potential efficacy re: tinnitus:

When I take my earplugs out, and suddenly hear clearer ambient sound, even though much of the high-pitched stuff still lingers, a lot of the lower and midrange garbage disappears. I would like to think that if my above 8 kHz hearing was restored to like-new, that "clearing-away" effect would be extended, like taking out the earplugs even more, if that makes sense. Not that I don't also need to get this stuff in deeper and restore more than just the highs, but I could see a single shot making things more bearable while holding out for an extended dose.

I looked at the Clinical Trials page and saw one has been taking place in Amherst, NY, near where my parents live. So close, yet so far away... ugh... the drug is right there.

I know exactly what you mean. I agree.

Agree completely. When I wear earplugs for extended periods my brain "picks up" one or several of the tones I have that the brain might have suppressed into the background of my attention for a period. For example, let's say I have a good week, and then do something where I wear earplugs all day, after that I usually have "old" tones flare up for days or weeks afterwards.

Did anyone get a hint whether the Phase 2 and age-related hearing loss Phase 1 results are likely to be presented at the same time during Q1?

Phase 2 90-day analysis was re-iterated for "Late Q1", Age-Related planned in Q2. It's highly likely that we'll see the Age-Related read-out in Q2 before we see the final Phase 2 data in Q2.

Just bought 4 shares. How many does everyone else have? Definitely positive signals.

I have about 130 shares (invested when it was around 20 dollars a share), although that seems not a lot compared to my parents, who went full in with 1200 shares. All I have is faith that FX-322 works, but if it helps to make us a little bit rich, I can't see why it would hurt ;)

So, Will McLean will be giving a presentation on 22 February at the ARO 2021 Conference, entitled 'Preclinical/Clinical Translational Evidence for a Potential Hearing Restoration Therapeutics, FX-322."

Holy shit. If it booms and we all get better, you should host a party for Tinnitus Talk members. There could be a cake that says "fuck TRT" on it.

Let's have a party where we all sit in silence. It would be the only fitting party for this group.

I hope that FX-322 can eliminate tinnitus... I don't care if I can hear better again, I just want the annoying ringing in my head to go away.
I don't think you can have one without the other.
The better hearing would be more of a "bonus" for most of us, though.

I bought 91 shares yesterday at $54.38.

I'm more interested in hearing recovery and tinnitus improvement than money. Money comes and goes. Quality of life is very different. I'll take quality of life over the money.

I think most of us are aware there is a likelihood this drug may not work. We remain hopeful it does, and if it doesn't work we will still remain hopeful that something else will. Personally, having hope helps keep me going.
But some toddler always needs to barge in and explain why this will never work, they have had tinnitus for 30 years, and you'll never be free. Really hoping I'm not a toddler in 29 years.

Being speculative here, but what's the likelihood that they've reviewed the 90-day data already and made these moves in accordance with that? I guess I'm just wondering if the data didn't look favorable, would they still have brought these individuals on board?

You make a great point...

I only pray, if they have favorable results, that they will eventually offer Compassionate Use before the pivotal trial.
