Can I go to an Ed Sheeran concert and wear earplugs?
Can it make my T worse? I mean Ed Sheeran is pretty calm music. Help me now please! The concert is on wednesday...
Take good earplugs with you, preferably customized molded ones. If you don't have those take musicians ear plugs and foam ones with you. I would also take ear defenders with me just in case. Do not sit or stand next to close to any boxes and if you are not seated try to stay at the back. If you feel like it is getting too loud anyways or you're feeling uncomfortable then leave immediatly. But I think you are going to be fine. Good luck and enjoy!

This is a personal decision, but please know that ear damage is cumulative. And damage that you get at a concert or any loud event might not present itself as louder tinnitus immediately, but it will contribute to hair cell loss.
That said, if you really want to go, I agree with everyone about getting an excellent set of earplugs. I would also download a sound meter app for your phone and keep track of noise levels. Finally, I'd also take frequent breaks to give your ears a break.
The decision is yours.
Please see the related links below about going to concerts. There's lots of information here that might help you decide.
