Head Injury
I have had the ringing in ears since 2014. I hear music alot...sometimes wish it was a song I knew...lol..
Trama to left side of head. 100 staples, neck & spine injury. Santa Ana Windstorm. I was hit by the roof over the gas pumps from a gas station. I jumped out of my vehicle to help someone who's car was flipping end over end in front of me...Did not know that a 18 ft x 24 ft roof was traveling in a wind gust at 70mph+..it hit me...threw me...when it landed one of the steel beams hit me in the head. Although every bone in my body was broke...the thing that bothers me the most is the ringing in ears. It's like theres no end in site.

Welcome to the forum @Koestan07 . Sorry that you suffered that accident while trying to help others. You are a heroine in my book. I hope others with head injury related tinnitus can respond but just in case there isn't enough of responses, you may want to search the forum with 'head injury' wordings and there should be many prior discussions. I personally know one guy Aaron who, when he was actively posting back then, told us that he suffered head injury and then tinnitus. He was quite distressed by his T and was suicidal at point. It got so bad that even his fiancee left him. Poor guy. However, in his success story post, he showed others that there is so much to live for even after severe tinnitus. I provide his story link below. All the best to you. God bless.

I am sorry to hear this had to happen to you. I've been living with tinnitus for a very long time too and it has been on and off for me. My tinnitus is caused because I have much smaller ear canals than what normal people have so my ears are pretty sensitive to noise. I've always found music boxes to stop the tinnitus even for only a couple of hours. I welcome you to our community though and hope you find what you're looking for!
