Anyone know of any good ENTs in the Seattle area?

Sick and tired of seeing incompetent ENTs and doctors who don't know anything about tinnitus. Having a really hard time getting Prednisone within a reasonable amount of time, and this is stressing me out.

Thanks.

F*cking tired of trying to get an appointment with an ENT.

Stupid doctors, stupid receptionists. I don't even care anymore. Prednisone is not a realistic treatment to consider. It may as well not exist. F*cking tired of this.

You have had tinnitus for quite some time. Do you have any idea what has caused it to become worse? Have you been using headphones. listening to loud music or work in a noisy environment or been exposed to other forms of loud noise?

ENTs all suck for tinnitus. Unless you have noticeable inflammation they're reluctant to prescribe it it seem. Have you tried telling your GP? That's how I got mine. You can try telling them you're extremely congested and have ear pain and Flonase isn't cutting it. I ended up getting it prescribed by a sit in doctor for my primary (who's an idiot) who said I can try it to relieve congestion.

Sorry you're having this experience with them but keep trying. I wish I pushed more for prednisone in the beginning.

I'm right there with you, very little faith left in the medical community.

Good and ENTs are not supposed to be in the same sentence because we all know ENTs don't give a fuck about tinnitus.

They think everyone can tune out the tinnitus but that's not true at all. They also don't know that noise induced tinnitus can get worse with exposure to loud sounds and sometimes the sound doesn't have to be loud to make it worse.

That's truth. Usually the advice given by them is you will get better after a few weeks. But there is a good ENT who will save your pocket money. "If you didn't experience any pain, or irritation in your ears, it's highly likely an MRI scan won't discover anything in you." For me a private hospital ENT was the worst experience, money/profit oriented.
