Good morning everyone!

Have a great day and make today the day you throw tinnitus in the trash and live your life.

please elaborate how and why T is not making you sad ?

I have my good days and I have my bad days. Im just tired of having bad days and so when I am feeling very positive and in a really good mood I will do things through out the day to stay positive.

Here is the thing. Worrying about it isn't going to change anything. Beating yourself up isn't going to fix it. In fact doing all that is going to make you feel worse.

Being positive to put yourself in a good mood and not worry about T isn't going to happen over night. You have to keep at it and keep a positive outlook.

It could still go away or lower in volume to where its no longer bothersome. I know we all want that RIGHT NOW, but you have to realistic and not in denial.

You will get better.

Also look at it this way.

Tinnitus is here and I wont go away.

This makes me anxious, depressed, stressed, sad

So you have Tinnitus, Anxiety, Depression, Stress

3 of these things can be eliminated easier than Tinnitus.

What I am saying is I can deal with the T if all other symptoms were gone, because then you have no reaction to your T.

Thats what I work on and thats how I feel better. Work on one thing at a time.

But do you think you would do this if you were a student in college? I'm trying to attend classes again but as soon as I reach the class I feel like my head is about to explode! This makes me very very sad because I cannot focus on the lesson. Then I start to compare myself with my friends. I see them living their lives with bliss. They can read their books, watch their movies in silence. Most of them attend clubs and blast their ears with loud music. But they do not know what tinnitus is...

First off you need to stop worrying about what your friends have that you don't. That is not healthy and you are avoiding recovery and habituation doing this.

Everyone has problems. EVERYONE!
Regardless of the problem.

Before T I had/had PTSD I couldn't go anywhere for 3 years. I'm good now

This is my second time with T and I am now at the point where I don't give two shits about other people that don't have T.

Don't do anything you are not ready to do. You need to take time to get your mind in the right place and spirit.
