Hey everyone, hope your day is going good! Just yesterday I got my ears micro suctioned as I felt they were pretty full again (I have narrow ears, they always eventually get full)

I didn't expect my tinnitus to go away after of course, but I did fear of making it louder, but nothing happened, no spikes, no volume increase.

However when I lay down on one side in bed, it still feels like a bit of wax or something is still moving around in there, and when it moves with the gravity my T changes in tone, it's quieter... Sometimes even switches ears. But the person that cleaned my ears even showed me with a special camera, and I've seen it myself that there was no wax at all left, all clean.

Does anyone know what this could be? Is it liquid or something behind the ear drum?

And also, to anyone with ears full of wax that is afraid of doing micro suction, I was also very afraid but in my case everything went really well.

This is pretty much exactly what I've been through. I thought I had water after an irrigation still trapped in there, but the fluid ended up being behind my ear drum.

I hope the spray works out for you. In my experience nothing worked but steroids. :(

Why the sad face if they worked? Thought it'd be a relief, my nose has been blocked bad for the past few weeks too, I'm suspecting it's all connected :p

@MikeB1996 did you or the ENT use anything to soften the wax before it was suctioned?
I used ear drops twice (sometimes 3 times if i remembered) a day for 10 days. I was only gonna do it for 5 days but i rather be safe than sorry, all went good, a little loud yeah..I was panicking but relaxed while it was beign done.

Sad face because I went through a party bag of drugs beforehand that sometimes caused more harm than helped (Sudafed make me bonkers, Mucinex was worthless, Flonase just cleared my nose and nothing more), and once I got off the medrol the problem came back. :(

Oh i see, yours seems worse than mine, i just can barely breathe trough my nose and feel a bit of pressure in the font on my face. Are you all okay now?

I'm getting on another, slightly higher and longer taper of prednisone tomorrow because the gunk returned in my left ear. Also seeing a third ENT on Monday for advice. Hoping for the best. Hoping for yours too.

Thank you i appreciate it, but you seem in more pain than me so i really hope it goes good for you. Best of luck!
