I'm the kind of guy who gets nervous and goes super high pitched when introducing myself at a party. I've just realized doing it on a forum isn't any easier!
I originally starting noticing a problem in late 2011 / early 2012. I was diagnosed with subjective tinnitus which at the time felt like the end of the world as I knew it. Fortunately, mine was mostly due to inflammation issues and as a consequence it's something I don't really have an issue with today.
Truthfully, I've never been one for forums .. even wring this has been more painful than you could ever imagine for me as I find writing as difficult as speaking in public! I came here for work reasons but it's positive to see there's a place you can come to to find solace. I think I was fortunate that my tinnitus was never too severe to begin with, but I can understand speaking to others that it's a surefire way to madness if left unchecked.
