Hello all, wondering if anyone has ever had a CESI?
I've got somatic tinnitus, volume changes from neck and jaw movements and just by touching any part of my head/scalp.
Much like many of you on this forum I've gone to over a dozen different Dr's from a regular chiro, atlas chiro, multiple ENT's, Neurologist and have been doing PT for about 6 month (including dry needling) and have had 3 rounds of trigger point injections.
None have helped that much.
My Dr. recommended I see a neck specialist as I had an MRI done and have a "massive" bulge in the C5-C6 with substantial compression on the C6 nerve root.
The neck specialist wants me to get a CESI. Said the bulge is really bad and that down the road I should consider surgery to repair it.
I read online that CESI has helped some with somatic tinnitus but then I also read that tinnitus can be a side effect. Just wondering if anyone has had a CESI and what the results were.
