Hi I was recommended this by a specialist and would like to know has anyone tried it ? because am scared incase it makes it worse, it is available to buy on amazon and it's pretty cheap...

I would be cautious about ingesting anything, even if they are herbal supplements. Er long in the Chinese language means deaf and I read on the web page that "It is only suitable for gradual loss of hearing and/or ringing in the ears due to yin deficiency of the liver and kidney. " If you really want to try it, do consult a TCM practitioner if it is suitable for your body condition.

I have never heard about the product and I am skeptical about any supplements that purport to help tinnitus specifically. As this product is from China, maybe you might want to ask @Aaron if he is able to advise.

A very comm0n used TCM, no side effect as I heard, I have tried it for 3 months, no use for me, but you could try anyway, most TCM has littile side effect than western medicine, but also, TCM's effect is very slow

I am taking it now as it was recommended by a Malaysian charity hospital TCM. doctor I consulted in Malaysia. $3 (USD) a bottle for ten days worth so what the he k. I was told that *if* it helps it could take 4-6 months. I like the bitter taste. I looked up the botanical name and determined that the predominant ingredient is Chinese Foxglove (radix et rhizoma rhemannae) although the first listed ingredient is magnetitum - which is magnetic. Clearly more alchemy!
