Hear Distortion When Masking Tinnitus? Try Chiptunes!

I find the simple and fast variety of notes doesn't give the distortion a chance to get stimulated long enough to fire off. With higher tinnitus and ringing as well as mild distortions I think this is a good mental break option.

Since getting super bass tinnitus, this doesn't always work as well (sure is hell).

My distortions are too severe for this, the sample you provided triggers distortions worse than some rock music can. But it does sort of mask my tinnitus.

That sucks. It's gotten worse for me too, thankfully the distortion only seem to occur if the tone is prolonged, then it starts tinkling/beeping away.

@Matchbox my distortions are like that of a broken speaker, e.g. all music sounds akin to a badly transcoded mp3. The "distortion" will be identical each time i listen to music. It's so disgusting.

What kind of hearing distortions do you guys have? When I am around more noise I hear beeping. When I go in the quiet, I barely hear it.
