Hearing Loss — How to Read an Audiogram? What Do People Mean When They Post Their Results?

My audiogram shows in the negative at 35 dB at 6000... when people say they are down 10 or 15 dB does that mean they are where mine is at out of the normal range or are they still in the 20 dB limit?

So do I have a 15 dB loss or 3B. I don't understand.

They are still in the 20 dB limit. The values use 0 dB as reference.
