Hell. I'm RSV the new guy. I have read everything here. I have tinnitus. It went away once. For a whole year. I could play my electric guitar's again. But it came back. I'm called to preach. God has touched me many of times . I have been healed 4 times by God once of tinnitus and God also used Lorazapam to help to. I cannot get Lorazapam anymore. No doctor will give me nothing. How loud is mine tinnitus? Dangerously reactive and loud. Really loud and the air hose sound is loud too. But God puts me to sleep. So I sleep.

1 Question. I got some ginger root. I read here that it helped some people. I used to take it but I stoped doing that. 1 will it spike tinnitus? Or do nothing and help with hyperacusis. And reactive tinnitus? It helped me before but I do not want to spike the tinnitus. Mine is music induced. Thanks for the reply and I will pray that God heals you all.

Hey and welcome! Indeed, staying faithful and spiritual has given me so much happiness and joy that not even the darkness of Tinnitus cannot destroy. Every day is spring time because i feel grateful, and honored, to be alive. Just knowing that there is a god and whatever bad happens in life, the best is still yet to come...every day i hop out of bed singing despite my T...also possibly because thanksgiving is around the corner and so is christmas.

Can you hear it with 60db music/environmental sound going on?

Also, ginger root has vitamins such as vitamin B6 which helps with the recovery of nervous systems so it shouldn't make your tinnitus worse. It might spike tinnitus since it's restorative properties will apply to healing your nerves and make them more sensitive.

Otherwise if you want to recover, tone down the music, wear earplugs for practice(although If you're serious about recovery I wouldn't expose yourself to sound higher then 80db) and make sure to get plenty of sleep to give your nerves a chance to recover.

I hope you heal once again, our tinnitus are all different, what spikes one person may not spike the other. You can try it and see if it spikes you, if it does, stop taking it. For now, protect your ears, they need to heal. How long did the first episode of tinnitus last and wht helped you? I wish you a good luck and cheers try to stay busy & distract your mind!

Interesting post! Having faith and being positive can be very helpful in your tinnitus journey. In my 30+ years I haven't found anything that helped my tinnitus except: exercise, talking it out, self love and doing something each day to better our lives.

Last time a family member got me some Lorazapam in their name. But I can not get it no more. They cannot either. I now know you can't take it but every once in a while. Because it will quit working. I would take it once every 5 months. And take erbs to keep it low.

Welcome aboard! It's going to be tough sometimes but at least you found this community. We don't always agree on everything, but for the most part we all get along and love each other. There are some really amazing people here that can and will provide you with as much support and information that's possible. Have strength, and hope.

Before I had to think about it to hear it. My church knew it was a miracle from God. Now it is loud but it does not bother me. God took away some of the side effects.

The first time I had white snow in my eyes. and went through hell. That lipo crap made me sick and made it worse. So I really fine this time. No visual snow. Just a loud air hose and a slight ringing.

My pastor and his wife has it. They sing and preach. Nothing bothers theirs. They are singing at dollywood tomoarow. They maked CD's and the music at church is loud. I do not go. I watch the service on Facebook. They sing at churches around the United States and sing on every gospel station. I can't be around stuff like that. Each person is different.

Guitar players get mad and say I can play with my tinnitus you can too. No I can't and do not want to either. I protect my ears.

Remain in your faith and remain strong. You have a bright future ahead of you

I have not taken ginger root, so I cannot comment if it creates a spike or not. If you feel that it is creating a spike, then stop taking it and see what happens.

For me cinnamon creates a spike and a new tone at times, so I stopped taking it. People are different and our bodies react to things differently.

I took care of my ears. It was gone 95 percent. And nothing made it louder. TV amplifiers, nothing. Only God could do that and he did.

And I made double sure to protect my ears. And I really did.

So I put a pair of headphones on and pluged it into my amplifier. Monday. Christmas was on a Sunday. I had it on low. 50 watts became 10 watts. I took the headphones off. My tinnitus was lower than ever almost gone. I said praise God. and went to bed. I woke up. It was late in the morning. It was so loud. I was shocked. It never went up. I was around louder things than that. I did not crank the amplifier up. So I was shocked.

So somehow it reseted. And became reactive again. And I told all the guitar players to protect their ears. A lot of guitar players have it. And are getting it. they need molded 200 dollars ear plugs. and want buy them. But wil buy a 3000 dollar Gibson Les Paul used for 2000 dollars.

So I took care of my ears. So I guess I hurt them again. I prayed. God took away the side efects. Nerver's felt like bee stings all over my body. Headace gone. No visual snow this time. But not the ringing or air hose sound. He will heal me again. And you may ot belive me. But I was told that by him. He said it the first time and it came to pass. So I'm wainting on him o do it again.

And I will pray for god to heal you all too. He wants to you know. He loves all of us.

No I'm non demonational. I do not pratice man made junk or rules. and just go by God's word and what he tells me directly.

His word the Bible he explains it to me. And that he loves me. And why there is sikness. The meaning of life. And to love everyone. And to love them no matter what they believe or say. I have prayed for people and they got healed of something I can not take away or any doctor could either. And to love those that disagree with God and you on every subject of life. I have taked to God since I was a kid. And he lets me know what pray for and aginst. Things like that.

I prayed for my former pastors son in law. He had a brain tumor. Nothing could be done. The third time I prayed. They went to Nashville. And the doctors was going to try to remove it. He was going to have problems his whole life. They then saw the tumor setting on top of the brain not in it. They removed it. and said pastor it was a God thing. I have never seen anything like it. God did it not me. I just asked. Donny Osmonds said the same thing. It was God not me that helped me through the difficult times of my life.
