I don't understand why you have to be so ruthless? I haven't done anything to aggravate you.

I appreciate all the support I've been given so far, and I'm not ungrateful. I'm trying to control my anxiety but I'm scared because I've never experienced this before.

Please take what has been said above to heart: get off of these forums and live your life. Every time you come here you are giving your tinnitus exactly what it wants ... fuel to stay alive.

You could obviously say the same thing back to me - why am I still here but I'm 9 months in and know pretty much exactly what is going on and why. You are still VERY early and very mild (as per your own estimate), don't make the baby monster any bigger by feeding it too much.

@GregCA, hello there! If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for your wife's ear infection related tinnitus to clear? I'm 8 weeks in.
