Cause of Tinnitus
Unknowingly
I have had noises in my head now for 14 months. It is not ringing in my ears. But high pitch screams and pulsing sounds like Cicadids if you know what they sound like. The noises move around my brain. I can barely stand it most days. Somedays I beat myself in my head with heavy objects. Does anyone relate to my experience?

A warm welcome to Tinnitus tak .
Please dont bang your head as could cause more problems.
I totally understand what mental torture it can be to go through as having a distressing time too.
Have you had any scans to rule out any abnormalities? ...lots of love glynis

Welcome. I recommend you go to the doctor and put a stethoscope on your ear. If your T is like a pulse, the doctor may be able to hear it. They would then ask if you would like surgery to correct it.

@Sandyusmc I wouldn't suggest hitting yourself in the head. Do you have someone you can vent to? Family or friends? Speak with a doctor asap. Also, find distractions. Any kind of distraction and get rest.

Welcome @Sandyusmc

I don't have the right words to say, cause I can relate. I wish it would stop. Its,,,,,no good.
I also have like high pitch scream with pulsing sounds like some insect, inside my head.
I looked up Cicadas songs, wiki. Their faster. Mine T is with my heart rate.
Some days I come home from work, its pulsing worse, Is it stress,,,,Stop the stress.

Yeah, the Doctor, meds, anti-depressants. Sleep as well as you can. Avoid stress, rest? Work with the medical people, what else do we have. Things will come around with a routine and distractions. Do you have any thing in life that you get enjoyment from? Even if you don't enjoy it, try, you should enjoy it. If so, take some time out for that. If not, have a glass of beer/wine, or do both. God Bless, things will get better. It has for me. It takes time.
