Hi everyone,
New guy here at the tinnitus & hyperacusis club (week old sufferer), unfortunately. Started as far as I can tell from using my PC in high volume with headphones (quit using them now)

Wanted to ask, which activities did you guys do when you discovered your tinnitus to avert your attention from it?

I started taking walks as it works the body and lets me think properly, although there is a lot of traffic sounds so I'm thinking of avoiding it for now (caused some spikes in my tinnitus and hyperacusis).

I play golf at two times per week, go to my gym 4 days per week and walk my dog two to three times daily. Just being active really helps me to deal with T. IMO the worst thing a person can do is pity themselves and sit around doing nothing. Get out there and stay active because it helps!

I'm taking on a lot of cooking projects, and let's just say there were a lot of new projects today .
