Tinnitus Since
12/2014
Cause of Tinnitus
stress, anxiety, panic, and maybe prior hearing loss
Had this high pitched screech that started in 12/2014 and have damn near lost my mind over it. I have tried all kinds of herbs, vitamins, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy and NOTHING has helped! I can get some relief drinking many IPA and other heavy craft beers along with zanax for anxiety/ panic and ambien for sleep but it never goes away. Using a tone generator I can find the approximate set of tones and they range from 10,00Hz to 11,920 Hz. The audiologist ran hearing tests and tells me my hearing is normal but they had no sounds to match the tinnitus in my right ear. I`ve had 2 MRI`s as well as xrays and it is not objective it`s subjective. So I come across this site that one of my friends sent me a link to to help me find a "cure" and I started looking for reviews and thats how I ended up on here.... It`s tinnitus terminator and I can`t find anything on it..... What was some glimmer of hope has turned into despair once again.

Welcome ... To relax and change focus until you find what works to cure you here are some thoughts. Heat on the ears to release endorphins to calm you, works to relieve me if the ringing gets to me, back of the neck heat helps me too. I use an old cotton sock filled about 2/3 full of raw beans and tie off top of sock. Put into the microwave for about a minute just enough to get very warm. You can use this over and over. I use a black sock to keep from looking dirty. Must be 100% cotton fabric for the sock other fabrics can cause a fire hazard. I did that once and learned my lesson. Also more tips... Humming your favorite song releases endorphins to calm you and help to relax you, hum louder than the ringing head noise. We have hope to be cured one day.

Thank you for the welcome and the tips Sandy B! A year and a half ago I didn`t even know what this was, now it`s all I can think of because it`s always there.
