I've had tinnitus since going to a chiropractor five years ago for my cervical stenosis. It was my sisters idea that I've always regretted. He pulled my neck with a towel and that night I had the worst headache of my life and tinnitus was born.
The moment I realized that "sound" was coming from inside my head I started to walk really fast. I couldn't crawl out of my own body.

As the years passed it's changed in volume. Right now my necks flared up significantly.

I tried a special NSAID cream on my neck and noticed my tinnitus worsened. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Thank you

Yes this happens with me also. I remember years ago asking this same question of a "professional" and the answer was cold and quick saying no it CAN NOT happen. Blah blah not enough actually absorbed into the bloodstream.

I have learned to be my own judge and advocate over the past decade now.

Although it did increase the perception of louder tinnitus it went back to normal. The ease of the pain was much needed.
