I haven't felt this happy for so damn long! My chronic depression and high-pitched tinnitus noises have now mostly gone away. I just can't believe it. It's just a miracle I managed to feel human again. Two years after my tinnitus worsened I can actually appreciate some things in life again.
Although I still hear my tinnitus everyday, some high-pitched noises have gotten much more silent and are a lot less bothersome. I have gotten so good at distracting myself from the tinnitus to the point where I can go an entire week without feeling bothered by it. The only noise that I truly despise is a low pitched hum in my right ear.
For the last 3 months I have started working out almost every day, gotten a proper sleep schedule, stopped eating unhealthy food and started going outside much more often. I still go to therapy to get help for my social anxiety so I can return to school.
I do still have my ups and downs though, but knowing I have my loving parents who want me to live my best possible life, I just can't give up.
I truly wish you all the best in life and I hope your tinnitus also improves like mine did.
