High Tone When in the Shower

I have this weird thing whenever I'm in the shower I hear this high-pitched tone which I never experience otherwise, except whenever I'm in front of my computer. When I turn the shower off the tone immediately goes away. The tone is also there when I'm sitting at my computer, but it's not as loud then. What's going on?

Sometimes my tinnitus reacts to various forms of broadband noise - that might be it. Try a white noise YouTube video to see if it has the same effect. It went away when my hyperacusis got better for a while.

I know what your talking about the same think happens to me when I'm in the shower also. It's the faucet doing that, next time that your in the shower, turn the water more on the cold side, and the noise will go away. It happens on my sinks too.


It seems to have something to do with the hot water.

weird i experience the same exact thing every since getting tinnitus. ive taken 1000000 showers in my life. never heard a rly high pitched sound while the shower us running until i got tinnitus
