Hi. I tried to verify my t frequency on youtube video. They play sounds from 125hz to 12000. Until 7000 even very low volume was very loud for me but from 8 k on I heard less and less so I kept turning up and when it came to 11, 12k I turned the vol to maximum and even for 2 secs I put it right next to my ears to check if I really didn't hear and suddenly I realised that I might have put a very loud sound right into my ears even though for me it was silent! I feel so terrible, could I make any harm to my good hair cells? For me it was silent but for them? I'm beginning you to answer cause I'm turning mad here..all alone and miserable and scared I worsened sth by my stupidity. When I read that ears are SO DELICATE and that people get t from small things such as a kiss in the ear. Thank you. .

Bad idea, in my opinion. Too many technological constraints. If you need to verify your tinnitus frequency, you really should see an audiologist with experience in tinnitus pitch and loudness marching. Anything short of that is suspect at best and more often than not actually misleading.

With what you describe? No.

For me it was silent but for them? I'm beginning you to answer cause I'm turning mad here..all alone and miserable and scared I worsened sth by my stupidity.
Doesn't seem to me that you did anything stupid.

When I read that ears are SO DELICATE and that people get t from small things such as a kiss in the ear.
I respectfully disagree. When you read stuff like that, you really need to consider the source. Our ears are actually incredibly resistant to damage. If you are getting your information from a board where all the participants have auditory damage, then you are going to come away with the feeling that anything and everything will cause auditory damage.

Hope this helps.
