No actually I shower once a day, he is the one showering "when I start to stink"... :barefoot:

and furthermore, he insists that most people do not shower every day.

Every second day for me unless I've worked extra hard and got dirty and then I will shower that day but I'm one of the lucky ones that can sweat like hell and I never smell, I have never ever wore deodorant either!

Once a day. It's the manly thing to do....:D

Every day twice a day ,without fail .always have done ,I detest smelling sweaty people . I've walk out of a supermarket queue ,because I refuse to smell someone next to me sweat smell. I detest it .
Plenty of deodorants on market ,wish people would use them .
To me it's as bad as not hand washing after bathroom use .

I take a shower once every 2 days, but I don't sweat much and I have dry skin, so lotion is a must have for me. I have noticed while taking wheatgrass body odor from feet is not there after a workout. I will wash as many times as needed depending if I've been physically active. I also like Epsom Salt baths to help relax. Deodorant is a must have along with quality colognes and for the lord's sake guys please wash your dirty clothing!

Rich Love your dog just spotted Avitar ,I could squeeze him ,in nicest possible way ,off the subject but me and dogs.Even my Cockers smelt lovely back on subject ,washed regular ,and had their teeth cleaned regular .
Nothing better than feeling clean ,and getting into a lovely clean sheeted bed heaven to me .

Before tinnitus, I would generally be as well dressed as George Clooney (on workdays) - and showering twice daily due to punishing workouts at the gym. Then came tinnitus and... well... things started to change... ahem... a "little" bit.

During one period in the very beginning of my ordeal, I recall not showering for a full week (and probably wearing the same clothes too - can't remember exactly). My kitchen was full of dirty dishes and leftover garbage and looked like something taken out of the movie "Drugstore Cowboy". By the end of the week, I think even my dog was beginning to complain of my smelly feet. That's when you know the shit has hit the fan...

I shower once a day. Unless I've been in the pool or something is going on in the evening, then I shower more than once a day. Just like the Drill SGT taught us. The exception to that rule is when we were in the field, Then it might be up to a month before you saw a shower. Any one else ever use hot coffee to shave with?

Take it Albert that was your good old days ,just asked husband former Royal Marine his longest was 8 days ,he was out in Cyprus ,when the Turks invaded in the 70 's ,and 10 days when out in Borneo confrontation with Indonesia ,he says shaving with coffee luxury ,Ha Ha you blokes I don't know .

Hiya Blair that was NASTY 3 blinking months to get rid of it .
I was brought up on Cleanliness is next to Godliness ,that's my old mums saying to us growing up .
Hey if that's how people live ,but I don't want to be anywhere near them ,and breath there body odour up my nose ,how long does it take to shower ? Think it's just plain lazy .
Friend of mine ,her son was a nightmare to get him in a shower when young. Then he got into teen years. She said he started to ask for his own deodorant ,Why teen girls at his school .we laughed at that .Kids hey .

Yea she's my beautiful baby and so placid and I agree there's nothing worse than a sweaty smell especially when your waiting at the checkout and have no choice but to smell it.

I have read articles that stated we are an overly clean population, in general, and that to permit the rebuilding of beneficial bacteria, similar in a way to what takes place in one's digestive system when one is on antibiotics, we must be willing to not wash like fanatics.

My dermatologist explained to me that it is not important to scrub out bodies intensely and that I should, which I did, switch from using an antibacterial soap such as Dial, to Dove, which is better for the skin. I made that change three years ago and I'm glad I did. It's permitting a return to a more preferred balance.

Once or twice a day...it depends on if I exercise before or after work. If I jog before work then one shower is enough but if I jog at night, I have to shower before bed. I still shower the next morning because I get bedhead. :(

Everyday.... the shower masks the "T" for me, so it's an escape.

It depends.. Some weeks I shower every other day, but other weeks (mostly the weeks when work/stress/T/..) gets me down more, I shower every day because the warmth and noise of the showers works against stress.

Interesting answer:

When My T has temporally left the building, I don't shower as the shower noise has brought the tinnitus back on.
When My T is roaring, I shower twice on those days as the shower sound masks and makes the T less loud…for a little bit after.

Go figure.
