Every day--my hair is such a mess from tossing and turning that I don't dare go out without a shower! :) Sometimes I shower twice a day--I'm one of those that has to shower after exercise. I don't understand those at work who go out jogging/running at lunch time and then go back to work without a shower. Ugh.

I agree, Kathi! I can't imagine going back to work after exercise, without taking a shower. (My hair would be a total wreck). So, instead, I exercise after work -- walking or going to the fitness center.

I wouldn't shower everyday as it strips us of the good bacterial we have on our skin. Also, don't use SLS, as that stuff is horribly dangerous and is used to degrease cars, thus strips us of our natural oils...Our body then has to work overtime producing more oil and then loses more function overtime and ages our skin rapidly.

Here's an odd thing, my tinnitus gets better after I've had a bath...Odd eh?
Danny Boy, Actually warm/hot water will give you better blood better circulation. I have to check my blood sugars every day, Dr told me to run hot over my finger before poking myself for a blood sample, hot water will open the blood vessels, thus allowing blood to flow a little more freely.

There is a connection between blood flow and T

Perhaps the hot/warm water from soaking in a bath, as opposed to a shower is increasing you're blood flow enough to lower you're T

Well, evening primrose (vitamin e) can increase blood-flow, so can niacin (beetroots), so maybe try those too.

Well I don't wear perfume otherwise I could go longer lol. When I was down and out (with T etc.) I didn't shower enough but once/day is best, or more if necessary under certain conditions.

1-2 a day, simply because I like it and it's a relaxing ritual. Can't imagine washing every second day -you sweat and produce other substances daily..you go to toilette. Very often people only think they don't smell but they do, only others smell it instead of them..

I find showering/baths to be refreshing and relaxing. So sometimes I take one for that reason even though I may already be clean. At bedtime I might turn off all the lights and light a scented candle in the bathroom, and shower or bathe in almost darkness. Sometimes I have a cup of herbal tea ready for myself to sip afterward. Very relaxing.
