Some, not all, of my tinnitus, especially in my left ear, is from ear wax buildup.

I had impacted ear wax removed by the doctor just a couple weeks ago. And although the tinnitus spoke I experienced is slowly getting better, I still feel that "wet" feeling in my left ear. Like there is wax there. I know q-tips aren't the way to go, so what can I do to help stop the build up from happening again?

keep us updated on rather your tinnitus goes away or heavily reduces or not.

Well, from what I've been told here, it takes about 4-6 months for the brain to adjust after a spike due to ear wax. But I can definitely tell the difference. Whereas my ears were ringing 24/7 and it was making me nauseous, I have my normal, low level tinnitus every other day and spikes inbetween.

So I did immediately feel relief, but I'll give an update 4-6 months down the road :)
