How to Generate Violet Noise

[Pink Noise]

Hi,

I found today that playing violet noise out of my MacBook Pro is helping mask my tinnitus >12kHz.

Thought I would share on how to generate it for yourself:

1. Download Audacity and install it https://www.audacityteam.org/download/
2. Open the menu Generate > Noise
3. Select White Noise
4. Enter duration (I entered 10 mins)
5. Open the menu Tools > Nyquist Prompt
6. Enter the expression:

   (mult 0.00001 (slope *track*))

7. Click OK
8. Open the menu: File > Export > Export as WAV
9. Give it a name
10. Open in media player such as iTunes and put on a loop
11. Enjoy
