You don't. There are some people who've had it disappear after five years, some who've had it disappear after two months, some who've had it their whole lives.
I think it's best, that if it disturbs you greatly, to seek therapy to accept it instead of constantly hoping for it to go away, because that can just set you up for disappointment if you search for it to be gone and find it instead. I've only had it a little over a week, so there's no telling if mine will ever go, but I'm setting up to accept it if it turns out to be permanent. No hearing damage, no ear inflammation, no eardrum damage. It just started one day after a ton of high stress. I'm just waiting and seeing.
