Hey guys
Iv had t now for almost 4 dreaded months
I do get this humming noise which is on and off. Weirdly I used to have it on occasion before my tinnitus even began after a concert and a burst eardrum :(.

What is this humming like a dryer on fast spin noise? It does come and go. But it's been here since last night and now it's still here this morning. It didn't used to panic me for some reason. I though the ringing was far more of a pain. But iv started reading story's that it can stick and obviously anxiety is an issue with this.

I find it comes with force after a car journey. Some days I can have it on and off. And some days I don't have it at all.
Cheers for the constant support x

For 10 days, I have a new low frequency hum too. It's usually noticeable at night when I go to bed. It seems related to the position (if I'm on my belly I almost don't hear it, but on my back I do) for me.
I thought it was the neighbors with a boom box...

@GregCA have you had the humming vibrating feeling before is it new to you
Mine usually comes and goes. But now iv had it 24 hours :(

It started about 10 days ago, so it's "new" in a sense that I didn't have that sound in my "T mix", but I don't notice it unless I'm laying down and in quiet environments, so basically when I'm in bed.

Mine started like that a year ago. First time I had ever had it. It would come and go. When I talked it would disappear completely and come back when I stopped. Drove me nuts. It started coming more regularly. It would cycle. 2 days no humming 3rd day humming. It was a low frequency hum too. I could almost feel it in the back of my neck. My neck started getting sore. My anxiety was sky high. One day it stayed for 14 days. I went to my ENT. He thought it might be my muscle in my neck that was bruised. He referred me to a neurologist. Neurologist referred me to a Meniere's specialist. Anyways, after 83 days straight of the noise and pain in the neck, and tons of tests, they finally a year later, diagnosed me with Meniere's. Not saying yours is Meniere's, but I would let me ENT know what is going on.

Hey gin, google dana white menieres. lots of new treatments coming around it seems
