Hello everyone,

I am just posting to let you know that my tinnitus worsened after pouring hydrogen peroxide (in Spanish "Agua oxigenada") inside my ear with the purpose of removing earwax. This was about a month ago and my tinnitus hasn't returned to its previous level. The bottle of hydrogen peroxide indicated: Hydrogen peroxide 50 %, and also indicates: Solución 3% v/v.

I wanted to post to warn all of you.

So please do not use hydrogen peroxide to remove earwax, at least I would not do it again.

Regards.

To give more details: I had the hydrogen peroxide about 15 minutes inside my ear.

However, please also consult with an ENT doctor. I just shared my experience and gave my opinion.
