Hyperacusis Almost Gone — Neck Pain and Nerve Issues Remain

Hi everyone,

I had an acoustic trauma three weeks ago and the neck pain is awful and debilitating.

Has anything helped your symptoms or did the pain decrease with time?

Thanks.

I also have awful sharp neck pains and don't know what to do? Can someone give me some advice, I'm feeling so overwhelmed. I had an acoustic shock a few weeks ago and don't know what to do. Thanks.

Any updates here? I developed hyperacusis, tinnitus, TMJ, stiff neck (SCM & Trapezius) region after a period of chronic anxiety. No specific acoustic trauma. No underlying conditions. I noticed a couple of months before hyperacusis that my neck / shoulder was getting stiff, followed by dizziness and then finally the ordeal commenced.

Is it worth checking out the C1/C2 alignment?

What is my next step to combat this?

Will these symptoms away in time and can I do something proactive to better my chances for recovery?
Low inflammatory carnivore diet, man.

I know diet is the last thing people want to change, even if they're obese dying in the hospital LMAO.

But, the carnivore diet is on another level. Zero gut issues. Feeling strong from all that animal protein. Clarity of mind.

It may not be for everyone but god damn if I wasn't eating 2 pounds of beef a day, I'd be much worse off. I'd be eating sugary carbs if not, which cause a shit ton of inflammation.

Great to hear that you took the earmuffs off. I've been doing the same thing lately. Seeing some improvement.

What a wild ride.
